Lesson Learned
The other night I decided to make spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. Everything was ready and I was just about to put the garlic spread on the fresh french bread.... yum! I opened up the container and to my surprise, the spread was COVERED, and I mean COVERED with thick black and green MOLD!!! I was disgusted! I turned the container over and looked at the expiration date..... APRIL 11!!! Gross!!! I was told to always check expiration dates, but never really paid much attention. I figure the grocery store ALWAYS has fresh inventory, right? I run back to the store and return it thinking to myself I probably just got a bad one. But, every single garlic spread was expired and 8 out of 10 had mold on them!! I will be very conscious of dates from now on! Lesson learned!

Uh that is disgusting. I almost wouldn't even believe that story if I had heard that from someone besides you...craziness. Good reminder to us all I guess. Thanks for sharing!
Gross! I can't believe that! 8 months overdue at a grocery store?! Nuts!
Which grocery store was it?? I'm not going there!
Yeah that's pretty gross! We've had some mold experiences with Macey's too . . . hmmm. . . makes you wonder about their hidden stash. . . . ;)
Wow, that is some kind of nasty. Makes you wonder what is going on back in the old store room there at the grocery store, huh?
