This post is just for you Marce- Our family photo wall! I took your advice and blew up the goofy picture 11x14 and I love it! I am so glad I did it! I have the more formal one hanging on our wall upstairs. So there you have it. It's so nice to have updated pictures that include Gabe, that little stinker!

Merry Christmas!
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We sure did. It was bitter sweet for me as this was the first year ( in 30 years I might add) that we spent it alone... just us. We usually go to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas every year, but were trying to save pennies and thought we would spend Christmas at home. McKay really enjoyed seeing it snow and having a White Christmas. Carter was sad not to go to Cali this year, but once he saw his scooter and trampoline, he quickly got over it. Gabe, well, just loved the boxes and paper!
As I mentioned before, the boys got a trampoline. We decided not to set it up in the snow, so Philip came up with a brilliant upon brilliant idea to make a scaventure hunt for the boys to find it. We spelled out the word TRAMPOLINE and cut each letter individally. We then thought of different places in the house to hide each letter and left clues at each place leading them to the next clue. After collecting all the letters, they had to unscramble the word to find out what their present was. I think by the end of it all, McKay was so frusterated that he couldn't be excited for the actual present. Once the frustration wore off, he was thrilled! Now if only the snow would melt so they could play on it.....
Christmas morning

My Handsome Boys!!

This last one's for you, mom. I'm not sure anyone else will be excited to see it. It is of the boys opening up their present from you. Since you couldn't watch their faces as they opened your gift, I captured it all on tape! McKay even went out and shoveled the driveway and sidewalk so he could ride it! Thanks grandma and grandpa! Your the best grandparents a kid could wish for!!

Happy Birthday Philip!
Happy Birthday to a wonderful husband and father! Thanks for being such a great example to me. I am so proud of you and your accomplishment of finishing school and becoming a Deputy Sheriff. I am grateful to you for encouraging me to always do my best and to become a better person. Thank you so very much for helping me with all of the housework (Yep, you read that right, he is constantly doing laundry and the dishes so I don't have to... it's wonderful!). Thank you for being the best dad to our kids. They adore you and love spending every waking minute with you. You are an amazing person and I love you very much. We hope you have a wonderful day! We love you! Happy Birthday!!!
Sledding with Dad! Good times!

My wonderful Boys...minus one because it was FREEZING that day. Gabe and I were in the car getting warm.

I love these boys!!

A loving father

Lesson Learned
The other night I decided to make spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. Everything was ready and I was just about to put the garlic spread on the fresh french bread.... yum! I opened up the container and to my surprise, the spread was COVERED, and I mean COVERED with thick black and green MOLD!!! I was disgusted! I turned the container over and looked at the expiration date..... APRIL 11!!! Gross!!! I was told to always check expiration dates, but never really paid much attention. I figure the grocery store ALWAYS has fresh inventory, right? I run back to the store and return it thinking to myself I probably just got a bad one. But, every single garlic spread was expired and 8 out of 10 had mold on them!! I will be very conscious of dates from now on! Lesson learned!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Ok. So remember when I went to see Twilight? And remember how I couldn't take my camera in the theatre and had to run it back to the car? Well, I left my camera in LeeAnn's car and totally forgot about picking it up until Thanksgiving day.... after dinner!! Luckily LeeAnn and her family were at our house that day and I was able to retrieve my camera from the car! So, once again, no picture of all the kids on Thankgiving at the table. The only one who was still seated was Gabe. So, here is a picture of our little peanut enjoying his first Thanksgiving feast.... sweet potatoe casserole and dried fruit! If you look close, you can still see some remnance of food left over for later!! Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was a memorable one. We appreciate you all!

Twilight!!!

Did ya see it, did ya see it?? I sure did! And man, was it great! Thanks to Melanie, I was able to go to the premier showing at 7:00 last night! I did bring my camera to capture some pics, but security was SO TIGHT and wouldn't let me take my camera into the theater. I had to run it back to the car! Other than that, it was a GREAT night! And, I even won a bookmark!! Yeah for me! Now I can never say I never win anything! I highly recommend going and seeing it!

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy anyone????
Gabe is a carbohydrate freak! He loves anything starchy and contain lots of carbs!! So this afternoon for lunch, I decided to finish off the last of the mashed potatoes and gravy from last nights dinner. Apparently, Gabe wanted to share my lunch. Which is OK by me as I am trying to figure out what to feed this kid! So when he lunged for my spoon, I gave him a taste and that was it. He was hooked! In the picture below, he was licking the bowl, or in this case, the tupperware! I guess he going to be a meat and potatoes kind of kid!!
MMMMMMM. tasty!

Want some?

A little bit of heaven!!
